Montopia is an arts, burn, music and community event held annually in the Bozeman area that adopts the 10 Principles as its legacy ethos. We practice radical self-reliance and you are in charge of bringing everything you might need while you’re there including water, food and shelter! You are also responsible for all your trash and taking it home with you, we do not provide trash cans. There is nothing for sale or barter, we are a gifting economy! All tickets are Will Call and you will receive a wristband for entry at the gate when you arrive. Directions to the event will be sent via email closer to the event date. Your wristband is your proof of admission and you must have it on you for the entire event.

This is a LEAVE NO TRACE event and you are responsible for bringing everything you need and taking it all back home with you, including your trash, cigarette butts, and MOOP (matter out of place). As with any other city, we create a common set of agreements and principles that we each take responsibility for following (refer to the Our Principles page and the 10 Principles). As a private event, we reserve the right to revoke your admission if you violate these principles. Please be mindful of yourself, others, and the beautiful property that we have the privilege to call home! Have fun! Be kind! Safety third!
